After coming out of the closet as a bisexual through a Tumblr post on the Fourth of July, Frank Ocean has received a great deal of media attention for being the most prominent hip-hop artist of this generation to come out.  People are making a big deal out of the fact that Ocean’s friend Tyler The Creator has “homophobic” lyrics but they forget that Ocean is the second member of the Odd Future crew to come out after Syd who is a lesbian. It’s not a coincidence he dropped this track just 2 days after the big announcement.
