Asher Roth called me last week and was all like “Yo Supertrend do you think Eddie Murphy’s “Party All The Time” could possibly be the best one hit wonder of all time?”. I said yes, and this is what he did.

You’re probably thinking, “Oooo a Bon Iver cover, I bet this song is gonna be some girl that will soothe me to sleep with her angelic vocals”. No, you’re wrong. Avec Sans, a London based duo comprised of Alice Fox & Jack St. James hit us up with an electro rework of “Perth” that is 1.) great and 2.) so far off from the original that you probably wouldn’t recognize it unless you saw the title.

I love this track so much that I’m always skeptical when remixes come out. I will say that Orson Belles (whoever you are!) did a great job here, taking an 80′s-esque synth driven track and giving it some dance floor nu-disco feel.
